What you’ll be doing:

Team Management:

  • You’ll lead by example and coach your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience at Dylan Oaks.
  • Ensure that all new members of staff complete their training checklist and are adequately trained on all things Dylan Oaks to the required standard. 
  • You will inspire, support and coach your team to truly flourish and grow in their roles. Conducting regular 1-to-1’s and making a genuine connection with your team by celebrating wins.
  • A clear and confident communicator, you’re comfortable with delivering feedback in an uplifting and motivating approach.


Operations:

  • You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to put our local business strategy into place as well as continuously reach performance targets and take charge with effective leadership.
  • Participating in our weekly Store Manager call, collaborating with SM’s across the board, analysing your own store performance and implementing actions required to meet your business objectives.
  • Complete store rotas on time and within budget.
  • Maintain all in store files and reporting records for cash handling and inventory management.


Customer Service & Shop floor:

  • As Store Manager, your focus is on creating an unforgettable customer experience and leading by example ensuring your team delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with your team to implement customer led strategies to maximise sales opportunities and meet targets.
  • Community & Culture: find ways to connect with the local community through in-store events to drive brand awareness, community culture, and customer engagement with the retail space and products.

 

Visual Merchandising & Store standards:

  • Ensure the shop floor reflects the brand and concept standards at all times and in doing so is consistently maintained by the entirety of the team.

Experience required:

Prior relevant Store Manager experience or equivalent within retail or high-volume customer facing role.

  • Inspires entrepreneurial thinking and can lead teams to achieve extraordinary results.
  • You are always looking for a better way to do things and are naturally curious in everything you do.
  • People management skills (e.g., communication, motivation, coaching, connection, and inspiration.
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
