Fulfilment Operations Assistant Manager – Dylan Oaks

Dylan Oaks is one of the UK & Ireland’s fastest-growing jewellery brands. In the past 12 months, we’ve grown over 100% YoY. We are looking to add to our team of high performers based in Belfast to continue to drive forward our mission and support the growth through the rest of 2025 and beyond.

Due to this recent growth, we’ve been making changes to our long-term strategy in order to drive efficient expansion of our Operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company's day to day operations in our fulfilment centre. This role requires a commercially driven, data-driven, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering project initiatives on time, making demonstrable improvements and managing staff to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Responsibility for all day-to-day operational activities in our order fulfilment centre (including maintenance & security) in the warehouse in an efficient manner while maintaining exemplary customer service.

-Ensure the site and warehouse is always kept clean and tidy and in a safe presentable manner.

-Line Management responsibilities for circa 20 direct reports in peak season.

-Managing any HR issues that may arise, including the recruitment and training of new staff.

-Ensure staff training and all required records are kept up to date.

-Complete regular staff appraisals in line with company policy

-Delivery of operational business targets in the form of key performance indicators (KPI’s)

-Monitoring and analysing current systems to increase efficiency while developing and implementing strategy for continuous improvements in the warehouse and business in general.

-Responsible for all stock logistics including stock movements in, out and within the premises and other internal stock movements within the retail shops

-Liaising and negotiating with transport companies to meet the requirements of the business.

-Ensure employees, departments and site meet all Health and Safety regulations, plicies and procedures.

-Keyholder responsibilities for alarm & out of hour duties

-Oversee delivery of all aspects relating to site audits and supplier audits

-Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post.

Skills Required

-At least 2 years’ experience gained in a senior role with senior management experience within a customer service environment

-Strong track record delivering monthly operational business targets (KPI’s) and implementing continuous improvement measures

-Resilient, very self-motivated with strong leadership experience

-Excellent IT skills, including MS office applications and ERP systems

-Experience in negotiating with suppliers

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, team orientated environment

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
